Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • How to Book: Book your session in advance to secure the studio and operator using our website form or contact us directly to check availability.

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Pod & Pour is currently operating under Louis James-Parker Ltd while we finalise setup – all invoices will be issued through that entity.

2. Services

  • Recording Options:

    • Recording Only: Includes access to a fully equipped podcast studio, a studio operator, professional cameras, and microphones.

    • Recording + Editing: Includes full recording services, plus professional editing by a dedicated podcast producer. Edited episodes may include audio mastering, colour correction, logo/music integration, and removal of unwanted sections. Revisions are available as part of this service.

  • Discounts: Please see packages or please enquire for details.

3. Additional Services

Additional services such as thumbnails, uploading, captions, or social media content can be provided. For a tailored quote, please get in touch.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Taster Session: Clients will not be charged if they reschedule at least 7 days before the booked session.

    Subscription Packages: Clients must provide at least 2 days' notice to reschedule their session without losing their allocated time. If rescheduling is not requested within this notice period, the missed session will not be carried over or refunded.

  • Limited Rollover Policy: Unused hours within a subscription month may roll over once to the following month but must be used within that time frame or they will be forfeited.

  • Late Cancellations: If notice is not provided within the specified time for each package, the session will be forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

5. Studio Use and Responsibilities

  • Client Responsibilities: Clients must arrive on time. Late arrivals will not extend the scheduled session, as other bookings must be accommodated.

  • Studio Operator: Only Pod & Pour’s operator may handle studio equipment.

  • Equipment Care: Clients are responsible for any damage caused by misuse of studio equipment.

6. Final Deliverables

  • Turnaround Time: Fully edited episodes are typically delivered within 5-10 working days. Delivery of amendments is subject to timely client feedback.

  • Revisions: Revisions are included based on the selected package.

7. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

  • Ownership: Clients retain full ownership of all content recorded during the session. Pod & Pour does not claim copyright.

  • Footage Use: Pod & Pour reserves the right to use footage for any marketing and promotional purposes.

  • Credit: While not required, we appreciate credit in the form of “Produced by Pod & Pour” with a link to our website on published episodes.

  • Third-Party Software: Footage may be uploaded to the web and to third-party software for editing purposes.

8. Liability

  • Client Responsibility: Pod & Pour is not responsible for any loss or damage to client materials.

  • Third-Party Services: Pod & Pour is not liable for delays or issues arising from third-party services (e.g., internet connectivity or cloud storage).

  • Force Majeure: Pod & Pour will not be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including (but not limited to) Acts of God, illness, legislation, war, fire, flood, power outages, or strikes. If Pod & Pour is unable to provide the agreed service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. However, Pod & Pour will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the client.

9. Agreement

By booking with Pod & Pour, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept responsibility for any additional charges resulting from misuse of studio facilities or equipment.

10. Changes to Terms

Pod & Pour reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Clients are responsible for reviewing the Terms prior to booking, as continued use of our services signifies acceptance of updated terms.
